Terms and Conditions

Condition of Pet:

  1. All quotes given are assuming that the condition of your pet’s coat is excellent to fair. All matted coats will incur extra fees that are calculated based on the amount of extra time it takes to complete that pet’s groom due to the poor condition of the pet’s coat.
  2. All efforts are made to ensure the quote given by us over the phone or via online chat are accurate, however until we start working on your pet, we cannot know if there will be additional time needed to ensure your pet is comfortable and clean. In the event that the cost of the work we need to complete will exceed the quoted cost we will attempt to contact you via phone or online chat. Verbal consent to complete the required work is considered binding.

Injuries:

  1. All care is taken to ensure that your pet has a safe and comfortable experience with us at the salon. However, sometimes injuries can happen due to factors outside of our control. For example skin tags and moles being bumped or nicked. Badly matted pets are also at a much greater risk of injury.
  2. In the event that an injury to your pet occurs as a result of their condition, no responsibility for the injury or associated veterinary costs will be accepted by us. While every effort is made to ensure injuries are prevented sometimes accidents happen.

 

Daycare/Uncollected Pets

  1. At the completion of your pet’s appointment you will be contacted to come and collect your pet. If you are unable to do so within 1 hour of the completion time, there will be a fee of up to $40 added to the cost of the initial appointment. This is to cover the extra care required to ensure your pet is comfortable during their stay with us. If, for some reason, you are unable to collect your pet, there will be a fee of $500 per night that the pet stays with one of our staff.

 

Cancellation

  1. 48 hours notice is required to cancel or move an appointment without penalty. The penalty is 50% of the expected fee for the service initially booked. If you cancel or reschedule again the fee is 100% of the expected service cost. If you are unable to attend your appointment due to sickness, a positive COVID test or doctors’ certificate will be required for this fee to be waived. This is at the discretion of the manager on duty, and previous cancellations and reschedules will be taken into account when assessing the waiving of any fees.

 

Drop off and collection times

  1. Drop off windows are 30 minutes and are as follows- 8am to 8:30am and 11am to 11:30am Monday to Friday. If you are unable to attend the salon between these times please advise the staff upon booking to ensure extra fees are not charged. If you do not advise and the late drop off causes issues with scheduling and staff work hours, additional fees will be charged to cover the incurred costs. Late collection of pets is covered under section 5 above.

 

By submitting this document you accept the above terms and conditions. Failure to do so can result in a refusal of services at the salon.
